Supporting South Australia’s energy and mining sectors.
The energy and mining sectors are key industries essential for the ongoing economic activity of the state. Accordingly, it is critical the Department for Energy and Mining continues to support these businesses to continue operations as far as practical in the current health emergency.
To this end, we have a created a dedicated webpage to provide the latest information and requirements as the national COVID-19 containment effort develops. Subscribe to be notified of updates.
We are liaising with our energy and mining stakeholders to understand their business continuity plans to avoid and minimise any disruption to the delivery of essential infrastructure and services to the South Australian community.
In line with public health advice, the majority of the department’s staff are working from home while ensuring critical functions are maintained.
Please note public access is closed to our Adelaide offices including the South Australia Drill Core Reference Library and Thebarton facilities until further notice. Also, we are investigating a webinar option for the Copper to the World 2020 conference scheduled for June. Register here to receive updates.
