Geoscience Library Catalogue

The Geoscience Library catalogue contains references to an extensive collection of published books, journals and electronic publications on South Australian geology and geoscience including:

  • Publications on topics such as geology, mining, petroleum, energy, paleontology, environmental science, hydrogeology, groundwater and exploration
  • National and international geological survey publications, including the Geological Survey of South Australia, and departmental geoscience publications
  • Theses from South Australian and other Australian universities
  • Rare and valuable books dating back to the 1800s

All publications in the collection are catalogued on the Geoscience Library catalogue. Where a digital copy of a publication is available, links are provided direct to the online resource.

Books and theses can be requested online via the Geoscience Library catalogue. These can be viewed via prior arrangement with the Librarian, either on Level 4, 11 Waymouth Street, Adelaide or, alternatively, can be requested on inter-library loan through your library.

Articles published in geoscientific journals can be found by searching for the title of the journal on the Geoscience Library catalogue. If the journal title is held in the Geoscience Library collection, articles can be requested via the catalogue or, alternatively, can be requested on inter-library loan through your library.

We welcome inquiries from industry, academic institutions, other libraries and the general public.
