Benjamin oversees the South Australian Government's strategic efforts in growing copper production in the state.

He  is a senior public servant with more than two  decades of experience across the energy, resources, and environmental sectors.

Most recently Benjamin held positions as the Executive Director Regulation and Compliance. and Director for Mineral Exploration, ensuring responsible delivery of resource and renewable energy projects in South Australia. He brings expertise in complex program delivery and strategic coordination to deliver certainty for industry and community while minimising financial, social and environmental risks,
