Project key
Major mines – includes major operating and approved in South Australia where the mine is principally used for the production of metallic minerals.
Major quarries – includes major operating extractive and industrial mines/quarries in South Australia.
Developing projects – includes projects which are typically in the early stages of planning and development. Proponents may be undertaking feasibility studies, conducting advanced exploratory operations or preparing mining proposals. After this work is completed and the project progressed, the required approvals will be sought and the proposal assessed by the department.
