GPA is an engineering and management firm which develop, engineer, and implement industrial scale projects across the oil and gas, defence, water treatment and distribution, mining and minerals, power generation and distribution, renewable energy and hydrogen sectors.

YES Group provides turnkey solutions to the energy industry. Their RedMud GreenEnergy portfolio creates renewable based investment opportunities in the National Electricity Market, bringing together investors and landowners for the purpose of constructing sub-utility solar farms.

Project: RedMud Green Energy (RMGE) projects

Premier's Awards category: Innovation and transformation (Innovation and collaboration) - Engineering, Technology and Services (ETS)

The RedMud Green Energy (RMGE) Projects are Australia’s an initiative created by YES Group, that has come to fruition via collaboration with GPA, as engineering partner.

YES Group aim to change the landscape of farming in South Australia, providing land-owners and investors opportunities to reactivate suitable unused land parcels to create a distributed network of small-to-medium-scale solar farms via the RMGE Project. By utilising favourable pastoral land for the development of numerous PV solar power generation systems, YES Group is creating a large network of PV facilities with integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS) to provide sustainable, large scale solar energy to the South Australian grid.

GPA is engaged as engineering partner to support the RMGE project, ensuring each solar generation and storage site can contribute renewable energy back to the South Australian power network in a safe and an efficient manner.

By developing mass solar generation the RMGE project has the potential to further increase South Australia's use of renewable energy.
