Well-log data, well completion reports, seismic data and geophysical reports should be submitted to the Department in industry-standard digital formats on size-appropriate media (e.g. CD / DVD / thumb-drive / hard-drive). Full details are given in the Digital Data submission guidelines but, in summary, these data should be in line with industry best practice and should normally consist of (as appropriate):
- Copies of all field recordings & supporting technical documentation, as delivered to the licencee (or its designated data processing contractor) by the acquisition contractor, and
- Copies of all deliverables and supporting technical documentation, as provided to the licencee by the company carrying out the processing or reprocessing of the data.
