Consultation on 2018-2020 REES activities

The Retailer Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES) consists of two three-year stages: 2015-2017 and 2018-2020.

The Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy sets the annual REES targets at the beginning of each stage. To inform the minister’s decisions for the 2018-2020 period, we released a consultation paper (PDF, 1.6 MB) on proposed activities for delivery under the REES.

An independent energy efficiency consulting firm, Energy Efficient Strategies, provided advice during preparation of the consultation paper, which was based on the principles of the REES ministerial protocol for maintaining the list of eligible activities and specifications.
