The Elizabeth Creek copper-cobalt deposits are located approximately 28 km southeast of Woomera, and 135 km northwest of Port Augusta in the Far North of South Australia.
The Project is located within exploration licence (EL) 6265 and EL 6518.

Coda Minerals Limited (Coda) is proposing to develop the Elizabeth Creek Copper-Cobalt Project in the far north of South Australia.
The Elizabeth Creek Project is made up of four major sediment hosted copper deposits discovered and drilled out at different times over the last half century.
Coda is proposing to mine and process the copper cobalt deposit by both open pit mining and underground mining. Proposed open pit mining at Windabout, MG14 and Cattle Grid South will be a conventional pit-strip and staged open pit mining system. Proposed underground mining at Emmie Bluff will be undertaken using mechanical cutting. Both open pit and underground mining will require some degree of blasting. Processing will include crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgical processing. Waste products will include waste rock (overburden) and tailings. The proposed mine life is 15.5 years, and will include supporting ancillary infrastructure including camp, haul roads and water supply.

Status
Coda has completed a detailed scoping process in accordance with the Department for Energy and Mining's (DEM) scoping framework. The process included the following main steps:
- Preliminary impact assessment
- Preliminary impact assessment meeting
- Draft scoping report
- Government review
- Final scoping report.
The scoping report was published by the department in July 2026 and will act as the project-specific terms of reference for Mineral Tenement Applications for the Elizabeth Creek Project. It sets out the required studies, modelling, environmental impact assessment methods, mitigation and management methods, and engagement approach.
