In April 2020, CSIRO’s Gas Industry Social and Environmental Research Alliance (GISERA) completed a three year research program, which assessed the impacts of hydraulic fracturing on air, water and soils relating to coal seam gas (CSG) development in the Surat Basin, Queensland.
