Application: Renewable Energy Infrastructure Licence (REIL)
Applicant: Willogoleche 2 Operating Trust, a subsidiary of ENGIE
Purpose: Construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of up to 20 wind turbine generators (WTG), a 200-megawatt/800-megawatt-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and a 14.6 km overhead transmission line (OTL)
Location
The project site is located approximately 6 km north-west of the Hallett township, in South Australia.

Should you make a written submission, that submission becomes a public record. All written submissions will be provided to the applicant for consideration and will be made publicly available on the Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Register (unless deemed irrelevant, offensive, or on any other grounds that the Minister thinks fit) in accordance with the requirements of the HRE Act and regulations.
The delegate of the Minister for Energy and Mining is required to have regard to these submissions in determining whether to grant or refuse the application and, if granted, the terms and conditions on which it should be granted.

Comments on the proposal must be submitted by 5:00 pm, 2 November 2026.
