Community Batteries photography competition

The Community Battery Photo Competition has now closed. Thank you to all who submitted photographs.

Are you passionate about your local area?

We were looking for people with a passion for their local community to lead the charge and enter our photo competition.

The Department for Energy and Mining is installing two community batteries, one in Magill and one in Edwardstown.

The batteries will support more than 600 Housing SA households who will benefit from lower energy prices.

We wanted a photograph that represents the past, present or future of each council district; City of Campbelltown and the City of Marion. You might be inspired by the local landscape, its rich history, its people or its flora and fauna.

The winning photos will be displayed on each of our community batteries, Magill and Edwardstown. The photos will be incorporated into perforated steel artwork which will form the street facing façade of the community battery enclosure. See the Terms and Conditions of Entry for details.

The winning entrants will receive a cash prize of $500.
