Day One - Oil and Gas Supplier Forum
Day Two - Roundtable for Oil and Gas Projects in South Australia
22 & 23 October 2014
In the time leading up to this meeting, it was decided that a sixth working group would be established. Working Group 6 focuses on Oil and Gas Suppliers, and the first day of the Roundtable was dedicated solely to this group.
Day one gave oil and gas suppliers an overview of current exploration and production activity in the Cooper Basin, an understanding of the basics of oil and gas production, an overview of the supply chain, the oil and has procurement process and facilitated discussions on other opportunities in this area.
Day two gave a chance for designated representatives of the other working groups to present on the achievements from the past year. There were presentations from industry representatives and Roadmap recommendation updates that took place as part of break out sessions.

Unconventional Energy Resources - Research and Technology Needs (Co-hosted with The University of Adelaide's IMER) 2, 3 & 4 December 2013
In December 2013, a three day Roundtable was convened together with The University of Adelaide's Institute for Minerals and Energy (IMER).
Day one focused on Industry Practice with updates from the working groups, Cooper Basin operating company project updates, discussions and presentations relating to stakeholder engagement, water management, Logistics / Infrastructure, Resource Estimations and Best Practice Technologies.
Day two's research theme included presentations from staff of The University of Adelaide, CSIRO, Flinders University, University College London and Australia's National University. These presentations covered the challenges of unconventional gas in the Cooper Basin in relation to its successful economic exploitation including high differential stress, high temperature and depositional environment. There were also discussions surrounding research that addressed these challenges and those of other basins in the central corridor of Australia.
Day three covered a brief update on the Roadmap's progress followed by a tour of The University of Adelaide's Ian Wark Research Institute.
