The deposit Iron oxide – copper-gold (IOCG) deposit hosted in a brecciated granite complex, mostly chalcopyrite with a central high grade bornite zone
Mining operation
  • Underground mining process called sub-level caving where the deposit is blasted then collected by loaders, crushed, and loaded onto a conveyor belt that transports the ore up to the surface
  • Ore will be processed onsite to produce concentrate
  • Concentrate may undergo further processing through a concentrate treatment plant

  • Mineral lease granted 3 January 2018 for the purposes of carrying out mining operations for the recovery of copper, gold and silver
  • Nine extractive mineral leases, EMLs 6480 to 6488 granted 13 July 2018
  • Five miscellaneous purposes licences (MPLs) have been issued for ancillary infrastructure (water supply, accommodation facilities, and airport) associated with the mining operations
