Krystina Hudson

As the Superintendent of Training Development at BHP at Olympic Dam Krystina leads a team of 12 people, responsible for the development of consistent, compliant, high quality technical training across sites. Krystina and her team oversee all training governance and system requirements including administration and scheduling portfolios, as well as being responsible for transitioning individuals into the resources sector through carefully designed onboarding programs.

Krystina has a Bachelor of Business (Double Major in Human Resource Management and Management). She has previously worked with the Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance and Skills SA on a number of projects and currently sits on the City of Adelaide’s Emerging Leaders Network (2023).

She is also the Co-Lead for Step up for Safety, a volunteer group that works towards reducing injuries and illnesses, and also works on the Traditional Owner Operational Support Working Group.

Krystina has also had an impact on the mining sector through her contribution to the Workforce Skilling Blueprint for the Upper Spencer Gulf (2021). In her role as Principal Learning Programs, she participated in a study to support future jobs in the mining and resource processing industry in the Upper Spencer Gulf region. This study has been critical in providing pathways for the Upper Spencer Gulf that have been key to driving economic recovery and jobs growth within the region.
