Mining operation | The Kanmantoo Bluestone Quarry produces raw stone for aggregates, filling, dimension stone and ballast by open cut method. Kanmantoo Bluestone Quarry currently consists of EML 5713, MPL 155 and RL 132. RL 132 was granted for the purpose of carrying out further investigations within the proposed retention lease area to enable the submission of a mining lease proposal. Mining proposal Public submissions were invited on the mining proposal which is now closed.
