Hydrogen gas blend increaseAustralian Gas Infrastructure Group's (AGIG) Hydrogen Park South Australia (HyP SA) in the Tonsley Innovation District is now delivering a pioneering 10% blend of renewable hydrogen with natural gas to power nearly 4,000 South Australian homes and businesses across Mitchell Park, Clovelly Park and parts of Marion.

The homes and businesses already have a 5% blend of renewable hydrogen combined with natural gas delivered through the existing gas network.  The increase to 10% renewable hydrogen makes it the highest concentration of hydrogen-blended gas in Australia.

Renewable hydrogen isn't just a cleaner energy source - it can be used in the same way as natural gas, including to heat homes and businesses, generate electricity and as a transport fuel.

South Australia is leading the way in the emerging hydrogen industry, embracing sustainable solutions for a greener future.
